Our Ethics and an outline about the Longs as dog lovers, we believe that the health of our canine family comes first and we are proud to be an ethical family and not a kennel. We do not believe in showing or breeding dogs that must be medicated in order to survive or that are enhanced with steroids or other medications. Our dogs are exhibited only in their natural state and a healthy dog is a happy dog. Championship titles are nice, but do NOT guarantee the health and soundness of the dog that carries the title or the offspring that these dogs may produce. Realistically, the majority of the general public is not looking to show, breed or campaign their dog. They are looking for a healthy and sound "canine" to be a member of the family that is a good representative of whatever breed they have chosen. Our Code of Ethics
